Buhari Presents 2021 Draft Budget to National Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday, October 8, presented a draft of 2021 Draft of Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.

He was received in the green Chambers of the National Assembly by the Principal Officers including the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan, the Speaker, House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Deputy Senate President and the Deputy Speaker.

By this presentation, the National Assembly is now set to begin deliberations on the bill, hoping that work on it will be completed in record and the bill signed into law on or before December 31, 2020. It is also expected that the Appropriation Act will come into effect from January 1, 2021
