Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has spoken up over the incident of Tuesday October 20, 2020 at the Lekki Toll gate, Lagos

While fielding questions from journalists on Saturday, Asiwaju Tinubu said an investigation should be conducted into the reported killings, but its target should include both the perpetrators and victims; both the dead and injured.

“Those who suffered casualties during gunshot need to answer some questions,” he said.

Tinubu’s statement came shortly after he met with Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu at the governor’s residence Saturday evening.

He described the governor as a youth who has been working tirelessly to resolve the dispute between #EndSARS protesters and the Buhari administration.

Mr. Tinubu has greatly criticised for his alleged role in the attack on protesters at Lekki Toll Gate, which he ha denied of any involvement

AN uncomfirmed number of casualties were recorded.

President Muhammadu Buhari has yet to confirm or deny his involvement in the controversial military deployment. But Lagosians have already blamed Mr. Tinubu for playing a role in it, which led thugs to set TVC, The Nation and other assets linked to him on fire.
