Ibeju-Lekki Model City Plan

The Lagos State Government has taken a significant step towards shaping the future of Ibeju-Lekki by announcing the public display and inspection of the draft Ibeju-Lekki Model City Plan (2024-2044). This 20-year plan outlines the development strategy for the area, focusing on infrastructure, land use, and other crucial aspects ¹.
As stated by Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, the state Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, this public inspection is a testament to the government’s commitment to citizens’ participation and international best practices in physical development planning.
The draft plan will be available for inspection from February 26th to March 4th at designated locations, including the Secretariat in Alausa, the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat, and the Lagos State Physical Planning Permits Authority in GRA, Ikeja.
