Katsina State Government Approves Stipend for Pastors

Katsina State Governor has Approval Payment of Stipends to Pastors in the State

Katsina Government has approved the introduction of Christian Religious Studies in all public schools across the state,  effective immediately. This comes amidst growing religious divide in the state.

In addition to this, the government has also approved the payment of monthly stipends to pastors within the state. This action, according to the state government, is aimed at encouraging the pastors to continue offering prayers for lasting peace and stability in Katsina.

This development has been welcomed by many as a step toward promoting inclusivity and religious harmony in the state.
