Basmati rice benefits

This rice with long grain type known as basmati rice, also referred to as the “mother of fragrance,” is well-known for its unique perfume and creamy flavor. In addition being incredibly flavorful, it has a number of special nutritional benefits above regular white rice.

Nutritional and digestive benefits
  • Low glycemic index:

           This makes it a good choice for people with diabetes, as it releases sugar slowly into the bloodstream and helps prevent energy                 crashes. 

  • Digestive health:

    The high fiber content, especially in brown basmati, aids digestion, promotes regular bowel movements, and can prevent constipation. 

  • Weight management:

    Basmati rice is lower in calories than many other rice types, and its fiber content helps you feel full longer, which can reduce overall calorie intake. 

  • Nutrient-rich:

    It’s a good source of B vitamins (especially thiamine, or 𝐵1), iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and antioxidants, which are important for energy, brain health, and cellular health. 

  • Gluten-free:

    It is a naturally gluten-free grain, making it a safe and versatile option for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities. 

  • Lower in arsenic:

    Some varieties, particularly from India and Pakistan, have been found to contain lower levels of arsenic compared to other types of rice
