President Tinubu Appoints Ms. Abiola appointed as the DG of CLTC
While Nasir Bala becomes the Presidential aide on Citizenship
On Monday August 11, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, announced the appointment of Ms. Rinsola Abiola as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
Ms. Abiola, an expert in strategic communication and government relations. She had previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President.
The President also appointed Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.
Mr. Ja’oji had served as Special Adviser on Mobilization to the Governor of Kano State and a member of the Governing Council of Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups. He is an advocate of women and youth empowerment and development. These two will working together to help implement the Presidents vision for citizenship and leadership development.
The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre is a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development. It was founded in March 1951and was established by act of Parliament in 1960. Its mission is to provide a sustainable framework for citizenship and leadership training and values re-orientation. CLTC is also known as Man O’ War of Nigeria.
