Not every woman 👠 qualifies to be a wife. Not every man is qualified to be a husband. To be a husband you must understand authority and how to use it positively. To be a wife, you must agree to submit to authority.
If you’re not ready to submit the authority of the man, don’t bother to marry, because you can NEVER enjoy that marriage. The marriage will eventually collapse, not out of love, but because it went out of alignment.
Authority gives order and structure in marriage. Authority ensures there is alignment – alignment to divine order. Without structure, there’s no alignment. Without structure and alignment, love has nothing to stand on to flourish.
Without authority, there is no marriage.
Love is not what sustains marriage. Many marriages are failing, not necessarily because there is no love, but because there is no alignment to authority and order.
Those who enter marriage and insist on running their lives on their own terms, can never have a good marriage. Submission to authority is not easy. Diligent and responsible use of authority is not easy. But whoever understands divine authority will align and make a good marriage, both wife and husband.
Wives must learn to submit to the authority of their husbands. There cannot be two authority figures in the home. Husbands must learn to use authority to build their families. This is divine order, not a social construct.
Men should train their sons on how to manage authority when they become husbands.
Women should train their daughters on how to submit to authority of their husbands when they marry.
This is the greatest gift you can give to your sons and daughters, in addition to education.
Otherwise, forget all your efforts.
