Kogi Tribe Initiative Holds Cultural Carnival

The Kogi Tribe Initiative held its first ever cultural show, tagged ‘Kogi Unity Street Carnival’ in Lojoka, the State Capital from December 3-5, 2020.

 

The aim of the show, according to the organizers ,is to foster togetherness and unity among the various tribes of Kogi state, to promote sustainable development in the state. It was marked with attendance of individuals of various ethnic backgrounds, ages and status quo.

The colourful event featured street carnival, speech presentations, beauty pageant, presentation of prizes and awards to deserving individuals. The highlight of the show was the public presentation it’s first Magazine titled Kogi Tribe Magazine. The event showcased the rich culture of the people and had a good dose of entertainment
