The Socio-Political Renaissance of Hon. Emeka Chinedu

Hon Emeka Chinedu Martin’s appearance on the Ahiazu/Ezinihitte political turf was a game changer of some sort. The little known oil magnate and real estate mogul, came into the system with lots of transformative vigour.

As a first timer, he was not given a chance at success as many pundits believed that his appearance at that time was to create awareness in preparedness for future political adventurism.

The strength and vigour he brought to bear was to become a strong selling point, not just for himself, but for the People’s Democratic Party as well. His popularity soared and soon, his name became a house hold name on the lips of both the old and young, boys and girls.

The intelligent and amiable Hon. Emeka Chinedu was quick to warm himself into the hearts of the delegates in the PDP at the time, the support and encouragements was so overwhelming, resulting in a resounding victory for him at the primaries of his Party.

Thereafter, his charm and brilliance radiated across the entire Constituency as he was soon to be accepted by the majority of the electorates. His campaign style was reminiscent of that of the late Political sage, Distinguished Senator Amah Iwuagwu, in quality and display. He did not just win that election, but he won convincingly and with a very wide margin. Thus he became the people’s representative in the green chambers of the NASS.

Hon. Emeka Chinedu has proved to be a patriotic, focused, determined and dogged achiever, who has touched so many lives positively within his less than three years stay in the National Assembly.

Hon. Emeka Chinedu has empowered several Youths within the Constituency with monetary gifts, he has also sacrificed so much of his personal funds to maintain state and Local Government roads, in addition to attracting a road construction within his constituency. Hon. Chinedu has built houses for some indigent persons in his constituency, he has equally reached almost all communities within his constituency with his “one community, one project” initiative , thus making him the first Legislator in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte to attain such lofty feat within so short a time, since 1999 till date.

As the saying goes, ‘the reward for hard work is more work’ , little wonder then, that the entire leadership of the PDP in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte, in an unprecedented manner, adopted him as the unopposed candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming general elections.

The Charismatic Hon. Emeka Chinedu has indeed changed the narrative in Legislative Representation in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency. It therefore behooves on the electorates, irrespective of class, gender, religious affinity and social status, to come out en masse in the next general election and reaffirm our collective resolve to entrench quality Leadership at all levels within our Constituency.

We should not be unmindful of the antics of the wolves amongst us, with their craftiness and empty promises, been driven by greed, selfishness, pride and arrogance. They are on the prowl again, seeking for whom to deceive and lead away into destitution.

Ndi Ahiazu and Ezinihitte are an intelligent and wise people, we are not wont to sacrifice a winning team on the alter of sentiments and bogus claims and promises. We are well off with Hon. Emeka Chinedu, whose return to the National Assembly in 2023, qualifies him for any principal office, including the office of the speaker. He deserves all our support and encouragement to consolidate on the socio-political gains so far recorded.

In all honesty, I have not gained any personal benefits from Hon. Emeka Chinedu, rather my convictions are strictly based on the unprecedented physical achievements so far recorded during the period of his representation. I, therefore charge all patriotic sons and daughters of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, to lend their support to Hon. Emeka Chinedu, the Legislator with a human face and heart, the Legislator with an open door policy, the Legislator with passion for development and growth of our Youth population. The man with the midas touch. The man whose kindness and generosity is amazing, the man who is representing us well.

In the words of William Shakespeare, ” there is a tide in the affairs of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte, which taken at the flood, leads to fortune, …. omitted, all our lives are bound in shallows in miseries.

Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu is that flood we must not omit. A word they say, is enough for the wise. Mbaise people  are known to be wise people.
