 Nana Akufo-Addo wins 2020 Presidential  Elections 


Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has won the 2020 General elections for Ghana.


The NPP candidate defeated his immediate rival, John Mahama of the NDC after he poll 51.59 percent of valid votes cast as against Mahama’s 47.36 percent.


In total Akufo-Addo polled 6,730,413 votes while John Mahama secured 6,214,889 of the total votes cast.


Ghana EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa declared the election results in favour of the NPP candidate who is to continue in second term as President of Ghana.


This is the third time and final time both candidates have met in three successive elections.


Over 17 million eligible voters participated in the election, which many observers describe as peaceful.


Meanwhile, jubilation are underway in the camp of NPP supporters across the country
