CASL 2022 Summit Now Holds in October

FLED International Leadership Institute wishes to inform the general public that the proposed Conference of Africa Student Leaders – CASL Summit, earlier scheduled to hold in Abuja from April 24-29, 2022 has now been shifted to October 2-6, 2022.

In a statement issued in Abuja and signed by Summit Host, Joseph Ibekwe, the Institute noted that the shift in date is sequel to indefinite closure of public universities in Nigerian due trade dispute between university lecturers and the Federal Government. “We consider that this will adversely affect the ability of student leaders from these institutions to participate with their counter parts form other part of Africa’ the statement said.

The theme of CASL 2022 Summit is “Students Leadership & Democratic Culture in Africa: A Dialogue on Values”.

The Summit is expected to deliberate on democratic issues and how emerging leaders could help to redefine democratic values in Africa, beginning from the leadership activities of students in schools and campuses. It will also explore the tourism potentials in Africa as participants will showcase tourism opportunities in their different countries.

In place of the Summit, we shall hold the Africa International Schools Leadership Conference – AISLSCo – April 25-28, 2022.
